Allied Health Services

  • Speech Pathology

Our Speech Pathologists support both children and adults to communicate with confidence. We provide therapy for speech clarity, language development, social communication, literacy, and swallowing difficulties. Sessions are tailored to individual goals, whether it’s helping a child find their voice or assisting an adult to regain communication skills after illness or injury.

  • Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists help clients of all ages participate fully in everyday life. From developing fine and gross motor skills to building independence in daily routines, we focus on practical strategies that improve function, confidence, and wellbeing. We support children to thrive at home and school, and adults to live safely and independently at home or in the community.

  • Feeding Therapy

Feeding therapy supports children and adults who experience difficulties with eating, drinking, or mealtime routines. Our team works closely with families to develop positive feeding experiences, address sensory or motor challenges, and support safe swallowing and nutrition. We take a gentle, evidence-based approach tailored to each individual’s needs.

  • Dietetics

Our Dietitians provide personalised nutrition support to promote health and wellbeing. We work with individuals and families to manage a range of dietary needs, including fussy eating, allergies, weight management, gut health, and chronic conditions. Our approach combines practical education with sustainable, realistic strategies for lifelong healthy eating habits.

Get started with AHA Today

  • Your AHA journey begins with a quick online enquiry form. This gives us the essential background to understand what support you’re looking for. Enquiries can be submitted directly by clients, families, support coordinators or other referrers.

  • Once an enquiry is received, our team will arrange an initial consultation typically held online via Telehealth. This is a relaxed conversation where we explore your goals and areas of concern, collect relevant history, and outline how AHA can support your needs moving forward.

  • After the initial consultation we may recommend a formal assessment. This gives a clear picture of current strengths, challenges, and priorities. Assessment findings are then used to develop an individualised therapy or support plan aligned with your goals.

  • Therapy support sessions begin based on the agreed plan. Sessions are delivered with evidence-based strategies, practical education, and ongoing guidance tailored to your age, goals, and environment.
